This year, I was selected to be part of the House of Commons Page Program. Over the past few months, I have had the opportunity to serve Members of Parliament and other parliamentary officials during the proceedings in the House of Commons.
Le travail de page me permet aussi d'en apprendre davantage sur le fonctionnement de la politique canadienne et des rouages du Parlement. De plus, j'ai l'occasion de vivre dans la capitale nationale, une des plus belles villes du Canada.
What I've enjoyed most about my time as a page is that it's a constant learning experience. Every day that I go to work, I feel lucky to be there. It's also been a great way to make new friends from all over Canada and interact with all kinds of people. It's been a wonderful way to start off my post-secondary years and I look forward to what the rest of the year at Parliament has to offer.
